Doctor Who Series 1 [2005]
Have just finished watching the series and O.M.G.!!
Since I'd never before seen any Dr. Who episodes (although I am/was familiar with the pictures of, I think, Tom Baker (the one with the huge scarf?)) I am quite happy I started with this one. I like knowing how things work and since this was the first season since a long time, there was time to explain stuff. It was also good to know/learn what was going on with the Daleks. Needless to say I loved the season and the returning bits (I always love those and I like making the connections). I just wouldn't have minded more seasons with Christopher Ecclestone. *nods*
The Doctor - Like I said before, I loved Christopher Ecclestone. I absolutey loved that manic, overly bright sunny smile he would pull out when things weren't exactly going to plan. Then there was his love for Rose... *happy sigh*
Rose - I loved Rose, as well including her faults. I liked seeing how she clearly loved the Doctor and enjoyed all the travelling.
Captain Jack - It was great seeing where Captain Jack entered into the story and how his character was made to be. I can't wait to see how/where he'll re-appear in the Ten series. I'm also planning on watching Torchwood :D
In conclusion: I'm so happy I finally started watching this!! I love the whole premise of the show and how in this series explains most things. *nods happily* Only thing I'm a bit sad about was me being stubborn and not catching on any sooner :( That said - watch me correct this and race through the next season!
