Men

Claudia Brown arrived home at 10 o’clock pm.
She had a very hard day with the team chasing five Leaellynosauras. These herbivores were very fast. Very-very bloody fast! Didn’t matter how hard they tried, they couldn’t catch the damn things. In the end Addy and Connor came up with a plan, so they shepherded the dinos back to the past with four herding dog which for she had to make dozen of calls.

However that wasn’t the only source of her problems.

That fucking damn Cutter!!!

Sighing she dropped her coat uncaringly to the floor. Kicking down her shoes and socks. She shut the bathroom door with a loud thud. She stayed under the hot shower till she calmed down somewhat. She wrapped a towel around herself and another one around her hair and went to the kitchen for a hot chocolate.

In the end she made herself comfortable on the soft sofa in front of the TV. She switched it on and listened to some music.

It was all about Christmas again, which she’ll spend alone…

She sighed loudly. Damn Cutter again! Why? Here is the short version:

She wanted Cutter, and she usually got what she wanted. She used her charm which helped her got her job and every important part of her life. However, the damn Scottish man was in love with…Lester. So she had two men out of count immediately. But that wasn’t the first failure of hers.

She tried Ryan, but he was too occupied to kiss the Hell out of his lad, namely Addison, and the red haired didn’t seem to mind it. After that she tried Dr. Hart, but Miss Maitland made it clear who the amazing eyed man belonged with. And Connor was just too bloody young for her!

“Damn men!” she hissed angrily. Half for her surprise a reply came in a form of a meow and something soft touched her leg. She smiled down at the thing softly.

“Okay, get it! Not all of them!”

Huge pair of golden eyes looked up at her. It was Curse, a huge, fat, soft, gray, domestic cat. A real tom-cat.

He jumped up onto the sofa next to her and with a graceful movement he made himself comfortable on her lap. Claudia started petting him on his head and back, and got loud purring as a reply.

The cat had arrived into her life through the door after a polite knock. She had been unsuspecting when she’d opened the door. The little kitten’d hurried into the flat and made itself comfortable on the sofa.

He stayed.

Claudia smiled at the memories. “We'll be good together as always, right?”

The cat purred approvingly.
