A "Dublin Lawyer" is lobster, cooked in whisky (and set fire to), then served with cream. Yum!
I also found a recipe for "soles in coffins", where you scoop out a baked tattie, line it with poached sole, pop some of the tattie back in and then top with a white herb sauce.
And the stuffed pike recipes just make me want to go fishing; one stuffs with mushrooms (yuk) but another suggestion is sorrell, lemon and anchovies, which sounds very yummy.

All of this started from not being able to remember the proportion of almonds to icing sugar.....
