Am cross and a bit upset. After going to all the effort of tracking down the pattern, and using a more expensive yarn, I've gone and lost my snail hat.
Even worse, I didn't write down the modifications I had to make to the pattern to make it fit my big head, don't have enough of the yarn left to make another, and the yarn's discontinued to boot.
I don't even know where I lost it at. I've been assuming it's been in the bottom of my work bag, but turns out it isn't, and I haven't worn it since Feb.
Phooey. This is why I prefer to knit big things.
