I have a promblem deciding things, I guess, even the smallest things. Anyway I was looking for why and I found out! This guy wrote this book about Decidophobia, which is basicly a fear of making choices, and he wrote the top 10 strategies of decidophobia.
Ten Strategies of Decidophobia

1. Religion:
Relinquishing freedom of thought and action to the edicts of faith, authority, tradition and religious institution.

2. Drifting:
a) The rejection of all ties or commitments. Living by impulse moment to moment without any thought for the future.
or
b) Unthinking Conformity to Social Norms and Expectations.

3. Allegiance to a Movement:
Abdicating responsibility in favor of strict conformity to the edicts of a 'party' or other mass movement.

4. Allegiance to a School of Thought:
“One has chosen the game and the rules and can have a good time planning one’s moves. Microscopism spells safety.”

5. Exegetical Thinking:
“Exegetical thinking permits the exegete to read his own ideas into a text and get them back endowed with authority.” (It assumes the absolute truthfulness of the text.)

6. Manichaeism:
The demand for a reality composed of black and white opposites. The use of such presumed opposites (i.e. good vs. evil/light vs. dark) to render all major decisions clear and simple.

7. Moral Rationalism:
The elimination of choice through reason. The assumption that rationality banishes the need or possibility for momentous decisions and tragic situations.

8. Pedantry:
Microscopism as a strategy for avoiding major decisions.

9. Riding the Wave of the Future:
The belief that fate or history has determined the future, and that one’s only choice is to follow fate and history.

10. Marriage:
At its worst: The diffusion of responsibility into a nebulous void existing somewhere between the consciousness of two separate individuals. Relying on the complacence of the other to sanction one’s own.

Well out of the top 10, 8 of them were revelant to me... just an interesting fact.
