I hate my back. I've gone from being able to do the whole side lot without stopping, even the whole yard with 1 break at the most... to not even being able to get the lot done from one end of the dog pen to the other end. It's horrible. My sister told me that was good that I got that much done, trying to make me feel better about it. Yeah, it may be good considering the pain it's causing, but it's horrible to me. To someone that's used to doing 10x more with no problems, it's just utterly terrible. I can't wait to get to the doc's next week... I really want him to send me to physical therapy.
Got a hold of the apartments today, after trying all day yesterday and only getting the machine. The woman I talked to should be sending me an e-mail with more info as well as an application (I'm assuming a .pdf file). Then, if I still have any questions, I plan on calling her back and asking them. Whether I still have questions or not, though... I'm printing that bad boy out and filling it out asap so I can fax it to her. And send the $100-430 for the deposit asap as well (only need the $100 to hold the apartment... but the deposit is $430 so I'm trying to get my parents to just pay it all at once instead of worrying about it when it needs to be paid in July). Things are looking up for going down there! Apparently, they've really fixed up the place. That's pretty cool in itself because from what Lydia says and everything, it was pretty good to begin with.
Went to Meijer yesterday with the parents and found Ramune! I was so happy. Didn't know what flavor it was, so I only bought one. Ended up being ginger ale. I'm not a huge fan of ginger ale, but I like it... and I definitely liked this one. Told Lydia about it last night and she said that's the most common flavor and that it's supposed to be like 7-Up. I'm trying to figure that one out. 7-Up tastes nothing like ginger ale. Oh well, though, it was good.
Mom and dad bought a 32" LCD HDTV flat panel tv Saturday and are looking at some entertainment centers to put it in/on (our current one doesn't have a big enough space for it) and are planning on picking the tv up on Saturday. Luckily, this means I get to have the current entertainment center for the apartment. Rock on!
Lydia's making plans for me to visit her next week and stay long enough for Karrie's wedding and then come home in time for my mom's birthday. She wanted me to stay the week after the wedding but I told her I couldn't miss my mom's birthday two years in a row (my mom's birthday is 2 days after the wedding). So she decided to try to get me down there for the two weeks before instead of having the wedding at the midpoint of the two weeks she has me down there. This all hinges, however, on whether or not I've heard anything from the places I've applied to. Truthfully, though, I doubt I will.. That's just how things have been going the last year that I've been looking for jobs. Oh well, we'll see.
Well anyway, I can't think of anything else to blab about now at this point, so I guess I'll stop here. Later!
