It has been years since I last wrote something with this service. My oh my, have things changed.
It really dawned on me recently how little time we truly have. Time is relative. It seems time moves slow when your an adolescent, but as you age, the years just whiz past you.
All and all, at times, it can be hard to accept change, but really there isn't much you can do about it. Whether you like it or not, the world keeps spinning. You might as well make the most of it, because it's really all you have.
It's hard to think I am as old as I am, yet I still feel like yesterday was seven years ago.
I do have to say, I have grown a bit over these past years. I have learned new skills and can accomplish more than I could have years ago. It's hard to think I have a career! I certainly have the entrepreneurial spirit in me and plan to attempt a few endeavors.
I'm in a better position now than I was, which is a plus.
While some of my goals took longer than expected, I'm glad I still reached them. Its funny how a slacker became an honor student, never receiving a grade lower than a B.
I also took some time to travel. I went half way around the world, which was fun. I certainly want to travel more and I aiming to visit Istanbul as soon as I get some vacation time. The culture is certainly interesting, I particularly like the coffee cup fortune readings and it doesn't hurt to have beautiful scenery.
My last year of undergraduate schooling taught me a lot, I certainly can play a mean game of texas hold 'em. In all seriousness, you have to take risks. Now you don't have to bet the farm, but if we only do what feels secure, we never leave our comfort zone and miss out on a lot of life opportunities.
