It's been a long, long, long, long time...
Beatles' songs make the best/worst earworms... Really. But it has been a while since I've felt up to posting - since I've felt up to doing anything of note, actually. The tl;dr version is this: I was sick and depressed, I fought both, and I am much better now. Not just 'feel' better - I AM better and I hope to keep it that way.
Unfortunately (for my fic to-do list), my Muse left me alone to heal. I haven't written much of import in some time. At the moment, I'm kind of noodling on an SGA story (John/Nancy) and contemplating entering challenges once again. As most of you SGA flisters know, there's a poll out there to gauge interest in another McShep Match this year (if you think you might be interested, go over and let them know). I'm considering that again as well as a few others.
So here's one thing I wanted to post during these "off" months. It's a cover for mischief5's brilliant story Times Two. I did this as part of a fandom auction for the lovely cjoelle who asked for art for one of Mischief's stories. I knew Times Two was very special to the author and that's why I chose it. If you've never read the story, you should go read it right away. If you have, then you should go and read it again... and again. It's not a long story, but it's the kind of fic that leaves you with a smile long after you're done reading.
I'm hoping this will be the start of me posting a bit more often. I've missed everyone. Even though you haven't heard from me, I've been keeping up with all of you.
