Rodney would be affronted and reluctant at first, of course, but damn that business savvy of John's... he's very persuasive. And with that tented one-piece, zip-up coverall, there's really nothing left to Rodney's imagination. Suffice to say that the problem with the car requires a part that'll take two weeks to be shipped from Albuquerque and John graciously allows Rodney to 'bunk in' with him during the wait. Auto Zones and Pep Boys on practically every corner notwithstanding, Rodney calls ahead to his destination to inform them he's going to be... delayed.
So, AU, canon, whatever... bets, promises, services... the Pay Me/You Owe Me blowjob... I can see you guys having a lot of fun with this and feel free to utilize the John Sheppard Rule Book if need be. (me, I'll be running around like a headless chicken ordering people around and wondering why in hell we don't have enough copy paper when everyone knew we were going to need it - and if that's the only snafu today, I will be eternally thankful)
