Idol Rundown
Okay, I know I went totally John Lennon on you guys in my last post. And, since I can't really stomach the whole Idol Gives Back bit, I'm going to give you a rundown of my Idol picks so far.
First, we have my faves: Jason Castro and Carly Smithson. Jason is totally cute in a Scott Baio sort of way. (Anybody remember Scott Baio?)

Anyway. Carly, I just like. Maybe I have a weakness for girls with tattoos, but to me, she's the only *real* gal left after Amanda got the boot.
Runner-ups: Michael Johns and David Archuleta. Michael is hot in that Aussie, INXS sorta way. (Anybody remember INXS?) And he's good when he's singing something that works for his voice and range. David is adorable. He's *good*, no doubt about it. But, maybe he needs a little more time to grow and experience and expand...?

It *was* heart!! OMG. I (heart) HEART.
Okay, where were we? Oh yes. People I want voted off NOW: Brooke White and Kristy Lee Cook. Bland and blander. Brooke just doesn't have the belt-ability I want to experience from a singer. She can sing fine, she seems to be lacking the depth and the emotional reach-out-and-grab-ya. Kristy Lee is simply the proverbial fingernails on a chalkboard.
And who else? Oh yeah, Syesha and David Cook. David is good, but there's something that feels inauthentic about him...can't put my finger on it. Something that feels like a show, not for real. Syesha...SIGH. I want so much to like Syesha, but she just doesn't make it easy. I *always* forget her performances.
Okay, I'll try to enjoy some more performances on Idol, or switch over to ANTM if it gets much.
