(no subject)
I finally have a boyfriend sleeping in my bed again (do you know how long that didn't happen? No? Me neither, because I can't remember the last time, because it's been THAT LONG!), and instead of cuddling till noon, I had to get up at seven (SEVEN! AM!) to work. (Watch me diligently doing the work I got up at seven am to do. Whatever, this is going to be a short entry.)
I got full points on my presentation! \o/ Do you know who else got full points? The guy who read the Wikipedia entry on his topic out loud (note to self: next time, check quality of available Wiki entries before committing to a topic) and the guy who READ HIS POWERPOINT SLIDES OUT LOUD.
I'm sorry, nothing makes me want to punch someone in the face quite as much as people who stand with their back to the audience and monotonously read their slides, word by word. Dude, we're all in med school, I promise every single one of us can read! Either tell me something interesting, or shut the fuck up and let me have the clicky thing, so we can get through those slides at a more appropriate speed.
In more bandom topics, I'm disappointed that apparently Pete Wentz isn't trolling us for the lolz. Not because I worry about Bronx Mowgli - whatever, his dad's peen is on the internet and his mom got caught lip-synching, poor kid was always going to be mocked on the playground. At least he'll have parents who love him and a name that he'll get a kick out of during that age where you watch the Jungle Book five times a week and twice on Sundays. No, I just really love it when people who get hassled by the paparazzi for a living totally troll the fuck out of them.
