Five years ago, I wrote a 20.000 words story about Pete and Patrick from Fall Out Boy. And then the Greater Nervous Breakdown Of 2008 happened (fucking med school), and somewhere halfway through the editing process I just couldn't handle it anymore, shoved the fic into a drawer, and never looked at it again.
A week ago, I was talking with tinnny about this fic, and how it was a shame that I'd never posted the second longest thing I'd ever written. Especially since it was completely finished and had gone through three and a half beta passes already. "I'm going to fix it up and post it!" I told her. "Not that anyone still cares about FOB fandom these days. The band doesn't even exist anymore!"
And then yesterday I went on the internet, FOB had reunited, and my flist was going fucking CRAZY.
It's a sign.
