Yeah, I was just REALLY not ready for another series in my life where the main character's girlfriend gets fridged, so that's another thing I was worried about. And I was pleasantly surprised with every episode where she had some actual character development or got to defend herself or something. I basically don't care if TV shows have few or no female characters, but if they're going to have them, I want them not to suck. >:(

LOLOL oh Suits. I watched the first season and enjoyed it, I should get back into it. The thing with Suits is that I feel like every single character in that show is basically bringing their troubles onto themselves, which makes it hard for me to sympathize with their woes. I basically watch that show for the slash factor while loling at everyone's self-inflicted pain. If they weren't all idiots and douchebags and liars, these things would not happen to them!

Merlin has NO EXCUSE. For NOTHING. Not only are they making Arthur look mentally deficient at this point, but Merlin, too, because there have now been a few eps where Arthur was like "...Maybe magic isn't so bad?" and instead of reinforcing that by coming out as a magician and a friend, Merlin totally let the opportunities go to waste. I mean, it's not like he even has any reason to be scared of Arthur at this point. He breaks in and out of Camelot's dungeons like two times a week anyway, and he could probably outfight all of the knights combined if he had to. I mean, for fuck's sake, he has a giant dragon fighting on his side if he needs help!

I keep nearly breaking up with Suits this season, given how they've shafted the female characters, but there's only three eps to go, I'm hoping it'll redeem itself.

Oh, you're kidding, Merlin writers, how are you so crap? (ha I wonder if the writers sit around each week going 'plllleeeeesse let him find out now, pleeaaase', and TPTB going, 'no, we have to keep people in suspense' and the writers sit around drinking to drown their sorrows about how no one will ever take them seriously again.
