For the past month or so V has decided it's the funniest thing ever to remove her boots and socks on the drive over to her daycare. The drive takes a total of maybe 6 minutes and every day it was the same thing - boots go on in the house, off in the car, on in the parking lot, off after the 30 second walk in to the centre ( Read more... )

I wonder if you could get her a sticker book that stays in the car, explaining that each day she keeps her boots on during the ride, she gets a sticker to put in it? You might have to leave a few minutes earlier so she can do the sticker thing, but it could work.

Good luck, though. This is a tough one, and I can't honestly remember what I did about it.

You can do what I do...each action has a reaction. So, if someone takes his socks and shoes off before arrival at the destination, then he does NOT get to walk in on his own. It works VERY effectively for my guys, as they have a choice...they can leave their stuff on AND get to walk, or take their stuff off and be treated like a baby!
