It's good to be home, especially when you have been denied it for a longer period of time then expected.
Here is the rundown of the last couple weeks:
I went on vacation and as nice as it was to see all my relatives by the end I wanted to come home. I was very excited to be going back and had made all kinds of plans. So when on the 29th I was taken off my flight by the customs people you can bet I was devastated.
I still harbor feelings of hate and frustration to the woman that didn't let me go home. And all because I didn't have the correct stamp on this one sheet that proves that my guardians are aware of me traveling. Honestly it was exasperation and I still find the whole situation unfair - since logically it was obvious that I was not some terrorist - I had both my join citizenship and passports for both countries with me.
And that was only the beginning of my trouble because after missing that flight the next one was a whole week away. And it was sold out. Finally as a last resort I got a ticket to another major city about 5 hours drive from my home. And even that flight was not until 5 days later. Put all this together with the fact that I had to pay extra to exchange my tickets and the fact that somewhere along the way they managed to loose my luggage and I ended up stranded in the airport for more then 12 hours - I was indeed frustrated, and that might be putting it lightly.
But after all those trials and many sleppless nights - either because of the time difference, the nightmares of not being able to return home, or the fever which I managed to catch just before leaving - its good to be home!!!
