Today I had 2 obscene phone calls from the same guy, and I didn't exactly follow procedure. I should have read his phone number back to him, told him not to call back or we would contact the police then transfer him to a team leader if he still hadn't hung up. It played out like this instead...
Neep: "Welcome to quitline. You're speaking to Neep, how can I help?"
Gross guy: *panting into phone* "I have a problem with masturbation. Who can I talk to?"
Neep: "Try talking to your right hand." *click*
The second call...
Neep: "Welcome to quitline. You're speaking to Neep, how can I help?"
Gross guy: "I said I have a problem with masturbation, what should I do?"
Neep: "Invest in a magnifying glass." *click*
Sigh. If quality pick those calls to mark, I'm so screwed.
