About my life, like.
No more flicking between science and people, I’m going to do both! Ever since I was a kid I wanted to be a doctor… but that’s hard. Seriously. And costs lots of money to train and I don’t want to move to Otago to study. So… nursing! It’s perfect for me, don’tcha think?
I’m going to get my 3 year bachelor of nursing, get some experience in and then apply for Doctors without Borders or similar. Then come back to New Zealand to do post grad study. The only decision now… do I get stuck straight into my degree or wait a couple years until I can get a student allowance? Not having to work too many hours will let me focus more on the study.
And don’t worry! I will still be at AT4, even if my trip to the UK is a lot shorter. Yay!
See you when I’m treating babies with malaria in the Congo. Or something.
