I don’t understand why corporations or creators are against fanfiction.
SG:A led me to fanfiction, which led me to ALL (excluding HP, because I’d already read the books) of my current fandoms, of which there are multitudes.
Because of ‘copyright infringement’ (though, the Suits fics I’ve read - as well as my research studies class and the Fair Use clause and Creative Commons, fuck yeah - leads me to believe it isn’t actually copyright infringement), I have purchased your seasons and books and comics and watched your shows and movies.
Logic up, people, and look at it as A) people loving the worlds you created so much that they never want to leave them, and B) free publicity that requires absolutely no effort on your part.
Because it is.

In the sequel to (the sequel to) Full Circle, our heroes find that while the problems in the Pegasus galaxy are much different than those of Earth, they’re also surprisingly similar. Shawn adjusts (eventually) to his new life on Atlantis, Eliot discovers the benefits of communication, John realizes that what he had before isn’t worth what he might be able to have now, Jesse makes some new friends, and Major Morris proves that what other people see is only 10% of the iceberg lurking beneath the surface.

They hadn’t spoken in five years, until now.
