I hate being sick.
I went to bed Wednesday night with a tiny little cough, and woke up Thursday with it in full force. I did not want to go to my 2:30-4:30 class, but it was the last day to work in class on our projects, and we had to turn in our ten thumbnails for my 6:30-10:30 class. I got home at 4:45, and decided to take a nap. I woke up at 6:30 and arrived to class 15 minutes late. Needless to say, I was the last one to sign up for one-on-one critiques, so I was going to be there a LONG time.
By 7:45 I couldn't stand it any longer and asked my professor if I could go. She said yes, and I immediately came home, downed some thera-flu and went to bed.
It was an agonizing night... Whenever I'm sick with fever, I fall into delirium. I kept having absurd dreams and waking up in the wee hours. I was up at 3:30 a.m. for about 15 minutes, then I went back to bed. I woke up at 10:45 this morning and stayed home all day. I am soooooo miserable.
I didn't eat anything yesterday, but I had a bowl of chunky chicken soup and drank a couple of Dr. B's for caffeine (the coughing is causing all sorts of headaches) earlier today. But I'm not feeling a bit better at all. As a matter of fact, the sneezing has started as well as the continuous draining.
I hate it!!
On one hand I'm glad this is the weekend because I won't miss class. But on the other hand, my plans are shot and I don't know how much I'll be able to concentrate on homework.
