Okay, well, it's not so strange. But it was pretty frickin' amazing. This weekend, I got to see so many bands that I never thought I'd see live.

Austin City Limits Music Festival is a huge event where tons of bands and gargantuan hordes of people mob Zilker Park for three days. There are big names and not-so-big names, and people people people... This ain't yir momma's Woodstock.

Anyway, I've uploaded about 65 or so pics from this weekend. As you can imagine, the image quality isn't THAT spectacular. There were at least a hundred thousand people there -- per day. So it made snapping pics of bands a bit difficult.

I didn't get to see every band I wanted to, but did manage to get quite a few in there...

Friday: MIA, Queens of the Stone Age, Spoon, Reverend Horton Heat, and the lovely Bjork.

Saturday: St. Vincent, Andrew Bird, Damien Rice, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Arcade Fire, and Muse

Sunday: Bloc Party, Regina Spektor, Wilco, The Decemberists, and little bit of Bob Dylan... which was especially difficult being that it was so crowded and he sings very softly. We only stayed for a couple of his songs.

.... Anyway, take a look at my photos, if you'd like a glimpse at how insanely wonderful this weekend was. :D
