astheashesfall , I may have a solution to my wisdom tooth problems. A research company here in San Marcos offers free extraction and compensation for studies on wisdom tooth pain and healing. So I'm gonna look into this as I'm still experiencing a lot of pain.
I managed to get my mash up done for art direction... I think it turned out decent. Right click and download "You Know How I Feel" ... it's a Six Feet Under mash up of Sia's "Breathe Me" and Nina Simone's "Feeling Good." I don't know how I managed to get Nina to sound so emo, as her music is usually so inspiring. Feedback would be much appreciated.
Ugh... my fingers STILL smell like Emily's burnt popcorn... even after seven or eight washings since Wednesday. Speaking of Emily... she's in the hospital right now. She called to see if she could maybe get a ride tomorrow morning. Apparently she's got a cyst, which is horrible. I feel really bad for her. I told her to call in the morning, and I'd try to wake up. But since I've been working on my project all night it's going to be difficult getting up at six a.m.
I got paid today, thank goodness. I was at $3.16 in the bank when my gas light came on, when Volkswagen called me asking why I skipped December and January's payments, when I got my $134 light bill and my $124 tuition bill. I still need to go to Z Media to print out my last art direction assignment. That'll cost a couple of bucks too. So thank God I have my little paycheck in there. I'm so sick of overdraft fees!
Today's menu ... A pork chop with onions & gravy and macaroni & cheese for lunch, a hot dog for dinner, and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies for snack. I was quite the chef today. ;)
P.S. I may be getting a roommate again soon.
