Poem by Jeanine

There once was a girl named Ally
Who cooked in a ship's galley
She was the most beautiful girl of the sea,
And, yes, that is including me...

We worked on a black pirate ship,
Feeding the sailors and collecting tips,
But we were both lonely,
With pirate's for company only

Until one glorious day,
The pirate's captain passed away,
He had left the ship to his brother,
And oh-la-la, there were none handsomer! <--okay. that rhyme was a stretch. whatev.

He surveyed his sailors and his new crew,
And subjected them all to his analytical review,
Until his eye fell upon the wonderous girl
He knew he'd never find such another pearl...

Her beauty was transcendant,
And her face was quite resplendent, <--adj. -having great beauty and splendor.
She was definitely hotter than Natalie Portman,
Even while emptying the kitchen's garbage can!

He dismissed the crew, but asked Ally to stay
He said, "your exquisate presence has made my day"
"I'll do anything for you, to make you glad"
"Just make me so, and give me your hand" <-- "your hand" as in, hand in marriage. duh!

Ally was quite swept off her feet,
But managed to take him to her bedroom suite
You'll have to guess what happened from here,
I'll give you a hint, never fear!

They lived happily ever after! (and that's the truth!) <-- okay. that didn't rhyme. sue me.

That poem is for Ally. Who was feeling bad today. Also, this poem was about her because we like to make up romance stories. Acutally, I like to do that with everyone, but Ally did it with me last.

(gotta say. that was clever of me)

Neener-Niner (that was for Kate. I mean, my whole livejournal can't just be for Ally!!!)

oh yes. to find out about the other beautiful girl of the sea, check in later. (oh yeah, that's me)
