Now that promos are over, I think I can make some time to upload pictures.
Yes, overdued pictures.
Even though for now, I feel they are safe over at Facebook, I do believe there is a day, one fine day, Facebook will be cocked up and pictures will be gone.
Handing Up Proposal Day
I have to admit that YMCA project has taken a lot of our time. But, at the end of the day, I did benefit from it. Having to learn to do our own handmade things, sparing time to think about items to be sold, travelling all the way to YMCA to submit proposals and all the other things that affect our schedule did leave me with a memorable experience. Street sales were made fun with the great companions and awesome public. Group discussions were exhausting as we drained out all possible ideas. A responsible leader, a creative artist, a very busy girl and a nice lady who brought the sweetest smile to every session ( in case you don't know, it's me), Team Hope2HOPE is fantabulous.
Of course , our journey would not have been complete without the support from our mentors, Mr Tan and Mr Au Shyh Dan and not forgetting Mr Lee. Thanks for believing in us ( chey) and giving us your support in every single possible way.
Street Sales at ECP
Another benefit that we got is that we are exposed to various types of entrepreneurship and got to impart some of the skills through the small meetings held and the different bazaars that we took part in. For both Hope Bazaar and SE-ed Bazaar, sales were not good but we did not lose hope. Okay, crap. We did. SE-ed Bazaar lasted from 10am to supposedly 8pm and by 2pm, we wanted to pack out and leave. Hours spent there slacking around and at the end of the day, we got less than 5 sales. How pathetic. But then again, it was a nice experience to see how other people sell their things.
