"A Diabolic Waltz" Failed
So my Music Theory project featuring "A Diabolic Waltz" off the Kuroshitsuji soundtrack kinda bombed xD; I couldn't find anything on its composition anywhere on the internets. :C I had figured out some of the main melody, but I need to know more than that and there's no way I would be able to figure out more than the main part by ear. Therefore, I need to find a new song. But what song? I then turned to "Lacrimosa" by Kalafina (aka, the 2nd ending theme of KS). Not too many parts to it, a song I love....no sheet music, youtube renditions, nothing. That leaves me back at the drawing board. I need a song by Monday. *sigh*
I thought of some other songs I'd like doing as well, but they didn't meet qualifications. "New Moon (The Meadow)" by Alexandre Desplat from the New Moon movie - it's all piano. I need three instruments minimum. "Resonance" by TM Revolution (better known as the Soul Eater opening theme), currently one of my favorite songs - too much computer effects are done on it. I don't want to do a regular rock or pop song cuz I kinda feel it's an easy way out and not very original. Really, this could be as simple as pulling out the MCR albums and doing eenie meanie minnie moe. Who knows? Maybe I'll end up doing that in the end. Haha!
