What if we held an election and the republicans didn't show up? In fact, why don't they just skip the whole convention thing. I mean, McCain has really thrown in the towel on this one. Does he think the American people are idiots? He has made his first presidential decision and he failed hard. How is a housewife, former mayor, first term Governor qualified to be second up for one of the most powerful jobs in the world? He has had 4 bouts with cancer and is 72 years old. How irresponsible of him. There are a selection of far more qualified women in the republican party. Ones that know their way around Washington and realize how to deal with foreign dignitaries. And having Joe Biden's NH campaign coordinator thrown in jail suddenly for a 16 year old offense,That could have been dealt with out of court, is cheap at the very least. All that been accomplished is that a good representative, who actually does things for his constituents, is behind bars and can't help anyone right now.
