I love your "Ray" dialogue. I think you really nailed it.

one of the best things about Ray/Neela is, IMO, how ridiculously in love with her he is. this:
If he didn’t always wear his heart on his sleeve, Neela thinks, it would be so much easier. Instead, she always just feels an overwhelming urge to reach out and fold him into her arms.

is so true and such an accurate description. I always loved the way he was so honest with his emotions, and I love Neela, don't get me wrong, but sometimes I'd watch the show and want to punch her for being so damn flighty.

Ohh, plot, nice. I really liked seeing Ray at his work place, too, getting a glimpse at everyday life. The sexy part, I must admit, doesn't interest me so much, I prefer my porn fix to be either highly kinky or highly plot relevant. So it was fun to see things moving forward, and Ray and Neela trying to figure out their relationship in an angst-free environment.

Ohhh, loved how the first real wrinkle was over a small thing and not a big thing linked to the hornets' next, but the reflex flirting from Ray that would cut to Neela's insecurities.
