woke up this morning to a call from my neighbor to see if i could drive him to work since he locked his keys in his car. i was still in an unbelievable amount of pain, but i'm not one to just not help someone who has been such a great soup-bringing neighbor when i was last sick, so i complied. on the way, i called my doctor since her office is 5 minutes from her work.
so i went up there and only had to pay $10 since i just needed labwork done so they could call me in an antibiotic prescription (they no longer do it over the phone without seeing you in for a quick test! gaaah!)
and i just got my phone call saying she has called me in an antibiotic. i'll be leaving the house shortly to try to go get it.
**update**
so i left. and went cvs hunting because the one i thought i told them to call actually does not exist HAHAHAHA (its a walgreens). so my dr's office reopens from lunch and they tell me where they called it into and its the one i had just left that told me they didn't receive it. i tell them to call it into the rite aid i usually go to because they never screw me like that. so they do and i head that way. i get there and they tell me that it won't be ready for another 2 hours. i can't pull that off, so i call chelsea and ask her to pick it up for me and she says she will because SHE RULES SO HARD and i go to get money to pay her back and get the sushi i had ordered earlier (my fried squid was then cold).
i sit here for about 30 minutes then i get a phone call from an old friend/coworker who is trying to figure out where i live because they were bringing me cranberry juice. we had a talk yesterday about my being this sick and eventually a joke was made about me winning something and i said that i wanted to win cranberry juice. they said to allow 12-16 hours of delivery. sure enough, 15.5 hours later, there is a knock on my door WITH CRANBERRY JUICE
also, an invite to go to a movie on sunday. which would be cool if my schedule permits.
sick,
boys
