Hailing the year of the monkey
I don't care enough to participate in the competition of buying the most fireworks and shooting up the coolest of them or most quantity of them...
...but I do like taking pictures of them.
Then there are those that do it out of tradition, which I guess is the biggest reason people do it. I like it, seeing a layer of fireworks across the city (as well as seperated neighbouring towns like Akranes and Bessastaðahreppur).
