contrary to popular belief by physicists that is.
wow. it has been ages, and i feel sorry for those that have missed reading about my life in some weird way or another (whats wrong with you people?, what are you on? where can i get some?). the last couple (has it been 3 weeks or 4?) since my last update have flown by so quickly and interestingly i dont think that there is enough room for all my thoughts at once to get out. its like i have three stooges syndrome except with words. I want to yell at people, yell about people, yell into people, yell around people, yell into thin air. basically alot of yelling.
for this update ill be less likely to mention days that didnt mean anything to me and/or had nothing very interesting in them. Also i thought that i would write alot more about the interesting days, perhaps anecdotes from some previous age, time, solar system and possibly a few twists and turns in the tale. I'm not really sure what i have planned, but i'll play it by ear and we'll see how well it goes.
week 7 (of uni) -
the monday 18th of april turned out to be one of those funny days when you are around Cecile. I'm not sure what happened, (it has been almost 4 weeks) but i got a few "omg mark, why dont you and cec seks?" from Dandy. admittedly this pissed me off to begin with, but then he got his act together and changed his tune to the beat of my drum and all is right with the world. This reminds me of the time when i was dating Rachel (i was like 14 or 15 at the time, so yeah...), she told me of a discussion shed had with her friends (all of them complete sluts) where they suggest i think with progressively worse parts of my body to be thinking with. it went along the lines of "Joan says you should think with your heart, while Jessy thinks you should think with your tongue. While Ali reckons you should think with your pe..." i can't say i was expecting this. but over the years you learn how to deal with people telling you should have sex with someone (that is until of course, you agree with them). YOU HEAR THAT DAN?...I LIKENED YOU TO A SLUTTY GIRL!!!...
CK's actual bday was on wednesday the 20th. i hope she had a good day.
on friday 22nd, i went and had lunch with Josie (upon special request, damn our busy schedules and such). shes amazing, she works so hard for the NUTS group and yet she doesnt get to act. even though she is a first year, she still probably has more talent than alot of the actors around. I dunno, ill find this out when i go to see Little Shop of Horrors with Med Revue band on this coming tuesday (17th may). strangely enough Jen was walking by at this time and she said hi, and not so strangely enough Dave decided to crash tackle me and kill me and stuff while we were sitting on the grass. and there were lots of graduation photos being taken around us, so i hope a few of them got some action shots :D
That night, i went to see Evermore play at the Eastwood Hotel. i got there at 8pm, the doors didnt open for ages, then the support band didnt start for ages, so Jane, Charm, Dan and I went to have some food. and i tell you what, the place we went served almost identical food to this place on liverpool st i used to have late night drunken dinners with Julia at. so anyway, back to the awesome showness. i love evermore so much. the atmospheric rock really does it for me. and this time around, they sounded good and i enjoyed it thoroughly when they showed off their abilities through a bit of improv between songs.
The weekend was dedicated to getting my hair cut and med revue band rehearsal and stuff.
Week 8 (of uni) -
not alot happened this week...like i have practically nothing written in my diary.
the VSU march happened on thursday, and saw fireface on friday night. oh and i saw the hitch hikers guide to the galaxy on wednesday thanks to Jenny :D. advance screening yay :D
more band rehearsal that weekend, and an extra practice on sunday aswell.
week 9 (of uni) -
This week was the week of Med Revue - "Mary's Poppin". it was really awesome to be in the band for this. and people say i played quite well (although my perfectionism denies this praise from being acknowledged too much. i did get really good by the final night however. thursday night was still the best show we did because the CSE revue people and co were watching that night and so we went on stage shirtless for the band number and had even more fun :D, and my solo was awesome). Thanks to Josie for being there on opening night :D, it was a tough crowd, but the hardest crowd to win over was saturday night, when all the parents came. barely anyone cheered, no-one danced, laughter was sparse, it was painful. (And don't tell cast, but we were nicely drunk every single night before we performed :D, it made us play better ;), cast isnt allowed to drink during show nights).
that sunday (8th of may) was a collective flop, it was mothers day AND my sisters birthday. Happy birthday Sis (Anne Bradley, aged 23) and Happy Mum's day, sorry i didnt have anything planned for you both, but i was really busy with med revue. i dedicated my performance on wednesday to you mum :D, and Anne you didnt go so im barring you :P
Week 10 (of uni) -
Hey thats this week!
this week was very interesting. (along with last friday ;)) for reasons i wont keep to myself for long.
monday i was meant to be wearing the 3 headed shirt created by the costumes team. but mikey was disorganised, despite Jaie and I being ready to go, so i had to wait until wednesday to wear it. Bubz also appeared on this day,
went to see pulp fiction on tuesday night after scripts meeting, which was cool.
went to see the real inspector hound, this brought back so many cool memories of extension english. WHERE IS HIGS?!?!. afterwards i drove Jane home (to St John Park). now thats what i call a fun drive!...it had everything, it had action, adventure, mystery, fast cars, romance. you name a genre, this drive was in it!. and so i eventually got home at about 1am or something, and slept without studying for my DSS test which was on today.
and tomorrow is the bronte beach picnic/bbq!. which should be awesome! soo many revuers in one spot == win++!;
and now i come to my exciting announcement and possible the reason as to why week 10 looks a bit sparse (considering i left out almost all mention of the good stuff). I am ecstatic to announce my poudness and stuff to be going out with Jane. take a bow Jane. You've made it into the inner circle, AND NONE OF THE REST OF YOU ARE INVITED!...maybe later...maybe...
so yeah, since i have alot of classes with her and i spend alot of free time with her, if i dont mention her in week 10 then week 10 is bound to look immensely sparse because its like filled with nothing else.
so yeah, do tell me, how long has it been since you danced under the pale moonlight with the devil?
