Friday night was amazing, to say the least.
Tinkers Punishment played at the Vinyl, which was an 18+ show. Thanks to Mike for putting us on the guestlist, we got in underage and free. Hah, yeah so I was definetely the youngest person there. But the Vinyl is such an awesome venue. We were some of the first people to show up so Matt & I got the "Rare and Well Done" cd. It includes 'Stay Awake', acoustic with piano... It sounds really cool.
They played a pretty long setlist. Thank God. There was only about maybe 75-100 people there, which was really cool... I like small shows. They had some technical difficulties at the beginning, which called for Kenneth playing some random song on the piano which was funny/interesting. They all seemed rather drunk... Besides Adam. It was Mikes birthday so every once and a while he would have to remind the audience... And that also consisted of him convincing people to buy him drinks. A woman put a shotglass on the stage for Mike, and Kenneth bet the crowd after a few more songs Mike would begin to forget the words, although he didnt. They are my favorite band to see live... And they are always so entertaining, I love it. Hum. A lot of other interesting stuff happened that I wont get into detail with, because Im sure I lost everyone during the first couple of lines. Heh.
TP is playing an all ages, all acoustic show at Eddies Attic, in December. Just incase anyone is interested.
End.
