Hey everyone! Im home!
-crickets-
Alright! Uhm. Yeah so Im back, the trip was pretty neat. There wasnt too much to do in Massachusetts, but we did go into Boston for a couple days; other days we hung around with family & ate a lot of food. Boston was cool. There were hilarious street performers at Faneuil Hall. A young performing couple made my older cousin, Jason, participate. It was actually pretty funny. And then the other performer another day teased the little kids a lot. I laughed. He balanced a regular-size shopping cart on his chin & juggled at the same time. I was very impressed. Another day we went to Newbury Port which has small shops & stuff. We went to see Pirates of the Caribbean. Splendid movie. I want to be part of Jack Sparrows crew. I would be the one with the wooden leg. And everyone would call me... Nicole. -squint-
Everything in New York was very... Rushed. And my parents were quite irritated. Wait, no nevermind... Theyre always irratated. Our hotel room was kickin. I just wanted to hang out there. Thats how good it was. To sum up New York into an adjective & verb, although Im going to go into detail later anyways, it would be "a lot" & "walking." We would walk all day & night & Id come back to the room with my feet throbbing like a freaking aorta. But most of it was worth it, minus my parents wanting to go to dumb places like trying to find the statue of the Bull near the stock exchange building or whatever. Lame.
We did go see Ground Zero. It was pretty crazy. There was a huge secure fence around it; 'it' being a gigantic hole in the ground. God. And there was somewhat of a monument that had the peoples names who had died.
Went back to Strawberry Fields/Central Park. Also went to an art museum called the Guggenheim.
And we did go on the Radio City Hall tour, & the NBC tour again. My brother & I did a blue screen picture there. We saw Whoopie Goldberg. Haha. So random. Anyways, my dad & I got up early one morning and walked down to NBC studios & stood in the line until nine am to get Conan tickets, but we failed. I wanted to kick the ticket lady in the face. During that time period Ashanti was perfoming right next to us. I wish she or someone else would write better lyrics, besides repeating "Hey baby" and "New York Citaaay" incessantly.
While we were in a restaurant we saw Kevin Pollak, who was on Conan Thursday night, walk by. Hes awesome. And we almost went to go see him at a comedy club but we missed the show.
I ate New York pizza. Like a Ninja Turtle. But it actually tastes like Sbarro. -Shrug-
We saw two plays. The "Producers" which is a comedy about two guys who want to try to put on a play that will flop, but its actually a big hit. It had songs in it like "Springtime for Hitler" and "Keep it Gay." The other play we saw was "Chicago." The performers worked around an orchastra which was set onstage. It was realllly good. Better than the movie.
The Toys 'R Us was gigantic. Im going to live there when I get older. It had a huge ferris wheel/ a huge Barbie house/ & a huge moving T-Rex. Three floors. Virgin Records was cool. I got the Bright Eyes - Lifted cd.
-Yawn-
Im sick of typing. I better be able to sleep-in tomorrow. Or Im going to go ape shit. And I think Im going to sleepover at Liz's tomorrow. Count me in. Ill be the most exciting girl there. Cause Ill be bringing those spongy dinosaur pills that you put in water and they GETALLBIGANDEXPLODE! Shya I wish.
Oh & I did take many pictures, so I will post them... We dropped the film off at Kroger today.
