NEEDTHEPRACTICEcastle
Oh, Kate. I honestly don't know where time's flown to when it comes to her. She and Castle just celebrated their one-year anniversary, which almost directly coincides with the one-year anniversary of Beckett being on the island - the two of them made things official a couple weeks after they both arrived. Since then, she's had a pregnancy scare (which managed to time perfectly with the events of homeplot), and the events of truthplot made her realize that while she isn't nearly ready to be a mommy for srs, she knows she wants a baby someday, and she wants to start that family with Castle (and Alexis as a big step-sis). She's feeling much more comfortable on the island as a whole, whereas I think in the past she had a lot of trouble dealing with the doldrums of the day-to-day and the frustration of not having a new case to work on. Being a part of the IBI might help with that a little, giving her additional routine alongside her IPD patrol and whatnot. Speaking of the IPD, she's needed a new partner since Jo disappeared from the island, and I think that sense of camaraderie could be good for her, a little taste of her team back home and a new person with whom to bond.
upcoming | ENGAGEMENT: Y/Y? :D She's not expecting it to happen any time soon, but she'll be saying yes when it does. Also, she won sexy dance lessons from Rachel at the bidding auction (completely designed as a present for Castle and partly for herself so she could try something new), so she'll be having some fun with that. She'll also be participating in the Rapture plot, though probably more likely as a protective escort and avoiding any and all direct battling.
threads | Castle, Alexis, Kate Austen, Dale Cooper, Danny Williams, Sawyer, Gwen Cooper, Rachel Gatina (so they can start their sexy dance class!) anyone else in the IPD she hasn't threaded with yet.

Steve, Steve, Steve. He's happily living in a hut with Danny and their "baby", otherwise known as a rapidly growing Golden Retriever puppy named Zulu who basically serves as their child-but-not. He was a teacher for about half a session, which I'm sure was an interesting experience for him and anyone participating in those classes (in hindsight, WE APOLOGIZE). He's still dealing with a lot of his internal issues re: his father and that loss, but he's opening up to more people and making more friends (hopefully). His relationship with Danny has been somewhat on the downlow for a while; very, very few people know at this juncture, aside from people Danny has told and people that Steve has unconsciously clued in without actually realizing that he's outing them as a couple - and outing them, period. They've been a little more affectionate in public lately - nothing extreme, but I think the two of them (read: Danny) are becoming more comfortable with showing that their relationship has become something more.
upcoming | There's a timeloop coming up for Steve that will allow him to confront his daddy issues head-on and to be able to finally move past them, thus freeing him to the willingness to want to start a family of his own one day (and to be confident with raising his own children). He's going to be unaffected for sex/age-switch, but he's going to reap the benefits of Danny being affected (which, haha, are going to be fantastic). He's got cooking classes with Bill and Saffron, won in the casino night auction, and he's going to be teaching Buffy how to surf. He's also going to be participating in the Rapture plot, probably on rescue missions and the like, and definitely in the final battle if his fiance allows.
threads | Danny, Rachel, Clark, Buffy, Jack, Coraline, Britta, Jacob, Magnus, everyone from ITF EVER, and everyone PERIOD. :D

Wichita's biggest source of interaction with people has been her uncanny resemblance to one Olive Penderghast. She's definitely more amused than annoyed about the whole thing - quite frankly, I don't think she's annoyed at all. She's having a lot of fun getting to know everyone, and aside from the initial strangeness of the conversation, she actually thinks Olive is pretty cool. She and Columbus had their second-first kiss (since he arrived on the island before their first-first kiss, which he only found out about after the fact, and she felt hella guilty for spoiling him about it), and they haven't made anything official yet, but she knows how she feels about him and what she feels is lots and lots of strong liking feelings. There's also Mark, though, who looks almost identical but is a completely different personality - not to mention Eduardo, who she likes to talk to but secretly wonders if it's weird that she looks like his girlfriend - and basically, all these clones are just giving her a headache in the end, but she wouldn't change any of it whatsoever. Except, maybe, to bring her little sister here. She hasn't allowed herself to fully miss Little Rock yet, because if she did, it'd be tears for days.
upcoming | I haven't decided whether or not to affect her for sex/age-switch, but I'm debating. If I can find a good male PB for her, I might do that, but I think she'd have more fun interacting with people who have changed than being changed herself. (Or I might, who am I kidding?) She's also got a bottle of alcohol from Trixa that she'll be needing to share with someone soon, and she's going to be offering haircuts to not only her auction winners but to anyone who needs one - provided they can pay her with something. It'll be primarily on a bartering system - a haircut for whatever item seems fair in exchange. Since she's found Tyra Collette's old haircutting kit (with permission from that mun, of course), it'll be good for her to have something resembling an island "job", so to speak.
threads | Columbus, Eduardo, Mark, Olive, Sarah Connor, Santana, Jessica Drew, Kate Gregson, everyone else ever that she hasn't met yet.

I DON'T KNOW WHERE THIS CAME FROM. No, actually, I do. It was catching up on current season two episodes and then going back and watching season one from the beginning (or planning an epic re-watch of season one before I plan to app her, just so I can get every tidbit of backstory possible). I love strong, beautiful women in charge; we all know this. But Annie just sort of snuck up on me over the last couple of days and my desire to get her apped first became even stronger as I watched more and more of the show all over again. I love her fierceness, her sexiness and the fact that she's a self-admitted bleeding heart, and that compassion gets her into more trouble than if she was simply a hard-hearted CIA agent. Besides, she's not even a full-fledged agent because of the whole being pulled out of training on "The Farm" (where the username comes from - get it?) a month before graduating, so she can't even carry a gun - and yet she manages to be so totally kick-ass. Also, I partly blame Tracey for reserving Auggie first, the end.
