[Mori goes about feeding the birds for a while. Some of the seed ends up just thrown on the ground since they can't all eat from his hands. It takes him a while to notice the white cat watching them. Well, a hungry cat is a problem with this many birds around. He shoos his friends away and walks inside as soon as he free of passengers... well except for a particularly insistent sparrow who's still riding on the dangling hood of his jacket.]

[Mori steps back outside, hopefully not to find a less hungry cat. The birds are back on him the moment he's through the door. In addition to the seed he's carrying in his pockets in bags, he now has a small piece of fish. He was going to use it to prepare dinner, but he can go back to the store for more. He silently holds the fish out and toward the cat. If the cat will come to him, he can just take the fish. If not, Mori's happy to toss it.]

[Mori reaches out to pat the cat on the head. He says hello and please don't eat his bird friends.]

[Now that the cat is hopefully fed and happy, Mori digs more seed out of his pockets and offers it to the birds.]

[Mori looks down at bump against his leg. Apparently this cat is more friendly than he expected. He lets the birds finish with the seed in his hands again before crouching down to reach. Nimble fingers scratch behind Mogget's ears and under his chin.]

[When it comes to cats, isn't it the same thing? Mori rubs his hand down Mogget's back before going back to scratching the scruff of his neck. He's a little surprised that the cat isn't talking like the birds, but the silence doesn't bother Mori at all. Well, as silent as it can be with bunches of chirping birds around them.]

[More like it's unusual now for animals to be so silent. Oh how Luceti changes one's perspective.]

[Mori blinks at the cat for a moment and then nods. He can give the cat the fist he intended for Honey and get more fish since he had to go back to the store anyway. He stands and turns to walk back into the house to fetch more fish.]

[Mori will return with another piece of fish. He crouches down and offers it to Mogget like the last time. A rather bold sparrow perches on Mori's shoulder and peers at the cat through one eye and then the next.]

[Mori offers the sparrow a sunflower before shooing it away. He doesn't want it to be eaten or chased or something. Mori kneels down the rest of the way and sits on the ground as he watches the ca]t eat.

[Mori shakes his head. He's never been that talkative. Usually Mitsukuni is filling the silence or talking for him. He just doesn't believe in wasting words.]
