That's why she's very worried about the global warming and tries to make people understand why they should use public transport and recycling; she follows her own advice the best she can. Malin also has a passionate love for all kinds of small animals.

Her father was the coach of Mariehamn's girls' football team, so Malin was easily absorbed in the game. She is still keeping herself in shape and often goes to run in the nearby park or just trains at home. She's a good swimmer, too, and she also enjoys sailing - she comes from an archipelago, after all, and often spent her summers sailing around the islands with her parents.
