I suspect it is temporary, yes. I haven't been here terribly long myself, but there does seem to be a reoccurring theme of temporary happenings.

Oh! And I'm Constable George Crabtree; pleasure. I've spoken a bit to young Mr. Russett and Miss Brunswick: it's a very interesting place you seem to come from.
