yet another wedding shower has come and past, and that brings us one day closer to nadie's and adam's union...sigh.
nadie, if i haven't mentioned it before, is my sister four and a half years my senior, and adam is her would-be-charming fiance. unfortunately, he and i do not get along...at all. maybe it's his narrow minded, selfish, loud, and overall annoying, tendencies that just...grate at my nerves. whatever it is, i can only take small doses of him.
just picture what you would think to be your everyday redneck, so conservative politically that he would never dream of supporting anyone not republican, who thinks that he knows everything and that his opinion is the only one that matters/is right. ahhhhh! he's very out of place in my foreign born, moderate family. no one likes him. plus, calling me a worthless piece of crap in front of my family on more than one occasion doesn't help matters.
and nadie has changed SO much since she started dating him...i just hope that when i start dating, i find someone who i love and who also is polite and gets along with my family.
/rant.
i hope everyone is doing well and enjoying his/her summer! just a couple of more months until uni...scary stuff. (:
