I thought it was a dream at first, but everybody says it's this place's gods. I don't know if they're really gods at all, though. They don't protect people or give them strength or anything.

I always liked the old gods better, anyhow. But there isn't any godswood here, I've asked.

I don't think they could hear us, even if there was. How could they if we're in a different world? They don't even hear in the south.
