There is something unmitigatingly creepy about this, particularly the last paragraph. I'm dying to see where it goes.

So am I, honestly. The fic I'd had planned out was something radically different from this, but my muse nagged me to take it in this direction. My first concept just had the two dying, and over time finding solace. My muse said "Fuck that, torture them!" And honestly, I'm inclined to agree with it. I have some ideas with what I'm going to do with it, and I promise you, this is probably going to be the most mild of the mindfucks going on.
