[The phone is picked up, followed by a long silence. Sounds as if someone is attempting to dial the phone a few times are heard, followed by the deep, gravelly voice of a long-time smoker.]

[Suddenly a loud bang is heard, as if the receiver were tossed carelessly on a table. The voice sounds a bit of distance away now.]
