I needed a four day weekend. More than anything. I can't stand it anymore! I give up.
This week was crazy...and there were only three days. It is somewhat exciting though, to watch it all happen. All week, I have been helping girls ask to Tolo...it has been quite great. On Sunday, Tara called me and said, "Hey Nicole, you take pictures of everything right?" When I said yes, she asked, "Do you have pictures of Brian Kramer running?" "HECK YES...XC is the coolest, why wouldn't I have pictures of Brian!" So I sent her two pictures of the fabulous Brian. The next day at school, there were Tolo flyers everywhere...all of them with my pictures on them...and they all said "photos courtesy of Nicole Kahn" at the bottom. For one day...I was famous. It was great.
Later in Leadership is when the drama started. It was FABULOUS. Grace was asking Peter to Tolo, and made a cake and a card. She wrote Tolo in trick candles in the middle, and surrounded them with real candles. This would make it so when Peter blew out the candles, Tolo would relight...pretty spiffy idea, eh? Well, we were instructed to light the cake as Peter was walking up to the Leadership building...and we did...but then he was KIDNAPPED! They drove him around with a bag over his head...and we had a problem...I have never seen candles burn that fast in my life! The cake started boiling, so we were forced to blow it out...but then there was smoke, and lots of it. We rushed the still burning and boiling cake outside, and Peter drove up. He got out of the car, and we sang Jingle Bells, and he saw his cake. He spent the next few minutes trying to blow it out. IT WAS SPECTACULAR. Oh drama, gotta love it.
Yesterday I hung out with Jean while she was on a search for a Tolo dress. We ate a lot. Jean rules forever.
I went to the Issaquah District-Wide Middle School Dance for Honor Society, and it was a blast. There are so many freaking middle schools in the Issaquah School District! GEEZ! We have about 3 in Bellevue, and Issaquah had something like 7 or 8. Anyways, it was awesome to the max - Jean, Tara, Kyle, Hope, Daren, Karianne, Issana, Grace, Cynthia, Michela, Hunter, Justin...and TANI! It was swell also because unlike high school dances, they played more rock than rap, and we couldnt contain ourselves...we couldnt stand on the wall with our arms crossed like regular chaperones. It was crazy fun...oh wow...our job was to break up freak dancing and butt grabbing during slow songs...but only Hope and Jean were brave enough, so pretty much it was a party. After the dance, a bunch of us went to Applebees...and it was nuts...I was in Kyle's Porsche going 120mph on I-90...holy mother of pearl...
Anyways, you probably didnt read that, so here are pictures...
Jean saw him
