Have you ever had a friend that you wish you could tell them everything you have been saying to them in your head. does this make sense? I have been having a conversation in my head for a few weeks. But I don't really think it would do any good out loud anyway. I feel this person is being dragged down and will fully exhaust themselves emotionally ( Read more... )

Yes, it makes perfect sense.

My philosophy on this particular topic, I think you know, is to simply tell them, without filters, as much as possible.

In relationships, one of the most DANGEROUS habits is dishonesty - and yes, dishonesty includes not saying what you genuinely feel. That was something beautiful Ryan and I had, and still have, I believe, is we tell one another absolutely everything. This is why I tend to have difficulty in situations in which the lines of communication are not open, and well-established. That sort of thing comes gradually with time, and I see that, but you know you've had all the time in the world.
