When I was pregnant with Cookie I worried that so many things could be wrong with her. I watched a little too much of Discovery Health. Her father used to scold me because I was constantly coming to him with new possible problems that our child could have. We were lucky, she was born perfect and continues to be perfect (evidence of this is in the Cookie section of my MySpace albums). They celebrated every day their child was alive. I think as parents whether your child lives to be 99 days old or 99 years old we should celebrate their life and never take them for granted.
