A jogger in Vancouver was hurt when a lightening hit a near by tree snaking out to zap him as well. Because he was wearing his iPod his eardrums were ruptured, his jaw fractured and he suffered first and second degree burns from his chest, where the device was strapped, up into his ear channels, along the trail of the iPod’s earphones.

Lesson of the Day: Take off your headphones if you are going to be hit by lightening.
