2010 came to a close with many potentially positive changes for LGBT people regarding
viagra care and progress toward equal rights. 2011, has begin with bright promise as well for LGBT people. Just last week, the mandate on hospital visitation as mandated by the Obama Administration went into effect. This policy which affects patients in nearly all hospitals in the country “…will now be allowed to decide who has visitation rights and who can make medical decisions on their behalf -- regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or family makeup.” A link to the original ABC.com news article is available at:

cheap cialis care. Lyon-Martin Health Services, a LGBT health center in San Francisco, CA, may close its doors soon due to financial problems. According to the article by author Aaron Glanz in the Bay Citizen, "the clinic has announced a fundraiser Sunday, January 30 at the El Rio Theater on Mission St. in Bernal Heights, where it will seek to raise a portion of the $250,000 the clinic's board says it needs to stay open." I agree with others who provide services for LGBT populations that this is a very grave situation in terms of sexual and gender minority women patient care. I hope that those who have vested interest in LGBT health will consider petitioning and donating to Lyon-Martin so that it may continue to provide culturally competent health services for LGBT people.
