26,836. I wrote 2,774 words, which is almost fifty words more than the previous record.
What's more, I had some good turns of phrases. "She wanted to tear his clothes off, tear his throat out, tear her hair to tatters." And a nice scene between two charecters which I hope, in the final draft, will break your heart. I can't really explain the scene very well without telling you about the plot of the story, which isn't really what I'm going for in this update. So, I'll just say that its at dinner, as a good deal of the story seems to be, and that I think Hent Jakpa is fleshed out nicly. Which is good, given he's also a pretty standard archetype.
Catching up is good. Tomorrow, I shall try to make another, larger post, as well as go for the big 3,000. Which, incidentally, would put me at the even bigger 30,000. And that would be a good place to be.
Also? I did the gym today. The Riverdance Soundtrack has some really nice treadmill tunes. Although you tend to look funny in the oddly convinent mirror that the treadmill faces when you're running at eight miles an hour and dancing at the same time. Which just makes me even happier than the happiness already brought on by the treadmill, the eight miles an hour, the toe-tapping Riverdance, and the NaNoWriMo.
So, basically? Good day all around.
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.
Yes, the time this says it was posted isn't the time it was. Somehow, I didn't press the "Post Entry" button after it was written.
