Hey all you people. AOL Radio rocks my socks.
Life has been going pretty slowly this past week. I really don't want to turn into a vagrant in my house; I need to be busy. Been running into some interesting things that have caught my observation because I have overtime to observe. Well, for one thing, some people wrote all these song lyrics on sidewalk sections with chalk across the street. ;) No one is hiring. They may say they are, but it's probably just an evil ploy to get people to go in the store. So everyone with a job, be very very grateful because you are extrememly fortunate. Hmm... this new song is really bad... my goodness...why do people feel such anger and the "I'm tougher than everyone" attitude and use bad language? oh my... Anyway, my mom let me borrow this wonderfully amazing book called "for women only," and my goodness it's changed so much of how I understand, reason, and react to other people. My mom is stuck in Tallahassee because of our beast of a van; the thing is finally on its last leg and making all sorts of beastly noises. Eric, Lindsey, & Ian came over on Sunday, and we were on a mission to avoid Russian spies. Tommy & I went on a hike through the woods yesterday. It looked cool, there was nothing better to do, and just think of the calories to sweat off! Well, we got lost. Not lost, technically because we knew how to get back if we turned around the way we came, but we assumed that all the trails connected. NEVER ASSUME ANYTHING. And yeah, we saw some wildlife, too... Tommy hacked it out of a tree using the stick he claimed was neccessary to carry around to fend off all the rabid raccoons and attack bears. So yes, there is one less spider in the world. Something else makes sense to me now: why guys do not ask for directions; it all actually makes sense, too! It's amazing. Anywho, we finally made it out of there and went home and sprayed each other with the hose. Summer pastime from... the past.
So yeah, life's been going. It gets kind of lonely sometimes, though. Everyone is always so busy. I really miss seeing all my school friends. We really have to get together sometime this summer.
Oh yes, summer is having odd effects on me. I've been doing things like playing video games for 3 straight hours in the middle of the night, eating only vegetables for a time, and yesterday, to think, I almost bought Guns N'Roses and Aerosmith CDs (that was, of course, when I realized what I was doing and that I didn't need to spend any money). Craziness.
Yeah.
Oh! If you're bored, check this out. Pretty funny if you ask me.

Verse of the Day: Romans 15:13 (TLB)
"God will help you overflow with hope in him through the Holy Spirit's power within you."
