Posting again! Woot!
I survived a real day of college life in a humongous (wow, that word looks really weird) place with lots and lots of isolated people. Seriously, nobody said anything! People walked alone almost everywhere, and it was sad. That was shocking. Also, I decided that my greatest culture shock experience was the fact that I could just walk right into classes, live in a dorm, and just be on campus with nobody saying anything. I could be Joe Schmoe and just wander onto campus, and no one would notice. Security is scary.
I saw a street preacher; Lindsey said today wasn't one of his mean days. There were also people dancing around for no apparent reason.
Oh! Lindsey took me to the bookstore where I became a rebel and bought a UF t-shirt. lol. I wonder what my parents would say.
Lindsey had 4 classes today, & I went with her. I thought our physics class was hard! That was first at 8:30 this morning. The guy had a French accent and talked about torque a lot. I learned one thing: F still equals ma in college. Where would we be without that formula?
Next was math which was...*yawn*.... Lots of graphs & averages.
Then was psychology which was cool! Only, we talked about depression, suicide, & schizophrenia which was interesting yet quite gloomy. I drew lots of pictures in the margins of my notebook.
Then it was "Man's Food." The guy talked about foodbourne diseases, which highly discourages any cooking or eating out. Hmm... putting anything in your mouth is risky!!! He also talked about botulism from canned food which scared me. My list of edible food is getting smaller and smaller. lol. But really, that class was very informative. Alrighty then my dears, I shall leave you all with the Verse of the day:
Isaiah 58:11
"The Lord will guide you always."
BEING HYPER ROCKS MY SOCKS! And so does getting up at 6 to catch a bus to go to physics. Oh! And so does walking all day and burning calories! =)

Hey hey hey! I'm posting 2 days in a row. How special do I feel?! =)
Last night was lots of fun. Kelsey and I had fluffernutters for dinner! If you've never had this wonderful sandwich, you've been deprived of all that's peanut buttery and marshmellow fluffy. We watched Sleeping Beauty too because Kelsey had never seen it. The epitome of fairy tales. I like the blue dress personally. ;)
Kelsey was a good sport and came with me to all my classes today. I hope it didn't bore her too much...though math was pretty rough. Physics is just blah. AND, to reiterate what Kelsey said earlier, eating foods straight from the can is BAD!!! Botulism is not a joking matter! Cook your canned food!!
Another highlight of the day, we both tried things that we'd never eaten before. Kelsey had a teriyaki chicken sub for lunch, and I had a bread bowl for dinner. Again, great foods that one must experience. We took pictures to commemorate these milestones...and also to waste film.
Tomorrow is Kelsey's last day with me. =( It's been so much fun to have her here! It's certainly made the week better than the rest. Oh well, I guess I'll have to go back to talking to my bananas instead of an actual person.
Random fact of the day: It is possible to miss a bus twice in 10 minutes.
Random quote of the day: "Eeeehhhhh" -Kelsey trying to work the strange laptop mouse
Love, pictures of feet, launching pigs, spotted moo cows, sherbet vases, sour fermented dough, phones that don't ring and when they do it's in the middle of class, and hip-hip-hooray for ab exercises on the floor,

*DISCLAIMER: These are joint lists. Lindsey isn't really the crazy one...or is she?* ;)
