My life is glamorous and hockey is dangerous

Went to the Harvard vs. Clarkson Men's Hockey game last night in Caaamebridge, cheered for Clarkson. We were sitting behind their bench, and damn, did some of the boys rock the Letang sex-hair. Canada makes 'em good. (I only know this because they had little flags on the backs of their helmets.) Clarkson was very clearly the better team (even though they lost), and their goaltender was amazing. 2 goals allowed, 36 shots.

Things I learned:

- Boys get nasty smelling once the 2nd period comes around.
- If they're pretty enough, I find that I don't mind.
- Hockey boys are just pretty. Like really pretty.
- I love it when they swear.
- Women's college hockey is better to watch if you like hockey.
- Men's college hockey is better to watch if you like hitting.
- Watching men's games gives me the insane urge to write original hockey fic.

On a personal note, I am injured (yet again). Took a bad fall last Tuesday and have been getting better only to pull a tendon, or at least something that is hopefully not my ACL, two days ago. The good news is I think my tolerance for ice and cold has gone way up. Yay? I'm still going skating tonight so we'll see what happens.
