Attempting not to flip out
I'm teaching my first writing class tomorrow. 70 minutes. Anyone have any tips? Free-writing exercises that you felt helped you develop your writing (it's more of an English/analysis sort of class, not fiction writing, really)? Any short stories that were good for illustrating things like tension and voice and stuff or that you just enjoyed? Anything that was useful to you, basically. I'm desperate.
