Wow.
Camping was fucking AWESOME. The weather was nearly perfect. I say "nearly" because it was sunny and I got a sunburn. It has been years since I've had a sunburn. It's on my forehead and on the side of my right knee. Owwie. Bye bye for now, pretty pale skin.
We toasted marshmallows and hot dogs over the fire. I made s'mores. Mmmmmm. Goddamn. Did I mention camping was awesome?
I brought a disposable camera with me. I'll get a disc of the photos later this week and will probably post some of them here. I regret using up all the exposures while at the camp site. Sean and I saw the aftermath of a really bad car accident on the way back that would have made for some interesting photography. Sean said that he doesn't think anyone survived it. I guess I can go find out on one of the local news websites. I'll do it later.
I start my new job tomorrow. Hell yeah.
As everyone already knows, Steve Irwin ("the Crocodile Hunter") died. I was pretty shocked when I heard about it after I got home, even though he did so much shit that could have gotten himself killed quite sooner than this. It has really saddened me, which is odd. I guess it's due to the fact that my father always liked to watch his show when I was still living at home in Iowa.
Time for bed.
